Return Policy

At The Comfort Closet, our primary goal is to keep you comfortable. Whether you’re working on a project, chilling with your friends, or purchasing from us, we want you to be comfortable. So, if you are not completely satisfied with any of our products, we want to get it right. We will gladly accept unworn, unaltered, unwashed, or unused merchandise within thirty days after your order is delivered for a full refund! Once you decide to return a product you must not use it while it remains in your possession.

If thirty days have gone by since the delivery date, we still care about your satisfaction! Just shoot us an email at, and we’ll handle it on a case by case basis even if we can’t guarantee a full refund.


We really try to make this process as seamless as possible. To start this process, just fill out this form: with your name, order number, and reason for return. We have different storage facilities around the United States, so the address you should return the product to will be contingent on where you are returning the product from. You will receive an email with further information on how to complete your return within three business days.

Unfortunately, the cost of shipping is non-refundable. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

Any refunds made will be subject to The Comfort Closet’s right to withhold amounts for products which are found damaged on return.

Once your return is processed, we’ll send you an email to notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund. If the product is damaged for reasons not by our error, we cannot guarantee a full refund.

 In the more likely case that your refund is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. This usually takes three to five business days. We only offer refunds onto the original payment method used to make the order.

Promotions and Discount Codes

If you return an order that was purchased with a discount code applied, the amount refunded will be subject to the minimum spend of the discount code. If returning the item(s) places your order’s total value below the threshold of the minimum spend of the discount code, the discounted amount will be deducted from the refund.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after five business days, please contact your bank, credit card company, or original method of payment to help resolve the issue. Depending on your bank, it may take two to three business cycles for the credit to appear on your statement. If you still do not receive your refund after contacting your bank or original method of payment, please contact us. The Comfort Closet does not accept returns for third party retailers.

Faulty Item

We’re so sorry that you received a faulty item! Send an email to with your order number, your item name, and photos that detail the product fault. Please get in touch with us within 3 days with photos so that we can get it right as soon as possible. If you do not send us an email within 3 days of the delivery date, we cannot guarantee the product was damaged by our fault, and therefore cannot guarantee a refund. You will receive an email with further information on how to complete your return within three business days.


In order to make the refund policy as efficient as possible, we do not offer an exchange policy. If you’d like to exchange your product, follow the above steps for refunding your purchase then purchase the product with the new specifications.


Cancellations will be handled by a case by case basis. We cannot guarantee a cancellation after 2 days, but send a form through with your name, order number, and reason for cancellation. If we cannot cancel your order, follow the above steps for returning your order after it has arrived.
